Terms and Conditions of using Music Equity as a Purchaser

By setting up Music Equity Pty Ltd account you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions –

1.     There are NO REFUNDS. At no time will Music Equity Pty Ltd be liable for a refund.

2.     When purchasing music from artists that choose to use Music Equity Pty Ltd as their choice of online sales provider, it is your responsibility to adhere to the copyright laws of the country you are governed by. Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be liable for any copyright infringements if you use any music unlawfully. You are responsible for your downloads according to the copyright laws governing your country

3.     You must be over the age of 13 years.

4.     Music Equity Pty Ltd encourages you to contact us if you consider any material to be offensive, abusive or degrading as it could be a violation of the use of Music Equity Pty Ltd.

5.     Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be liable for misuse of our system and will not be held responsible for any damages to your computer or equipment as a result of using Music Equity Pty Ltd.

6.     If you choose the storage option, Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held liable for any downtime or problems occurring with the storage that is offered by an external company.

7.     Music Equity Pty Ltd will not tolerate any abusive language or any comments deemed offensive and can refuse use of the system at any time. Judgment on what is deemed abusive and offensive material is wholly at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd and our decision is final.

8.     It is your responsibility to keep your personal details up to date. Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for the upkeep of your personal details.

9.     Recording quality can vary on different downloads as this is determined by the artists not Music Equity Pty Ltd. We strongly recommend you listen to your choices before completing your purchases as no refunds will be given. Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for the quality of any of your downloads

10.  Your account may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd

11.  Music Equity Pty Ltd can change these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time.

12.  Music Equity Pty Ltd is always used by permission. Permission can be refused to anyone at any time without notice.

13.  Any illegal or misleading use of Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be tolerated and will possibly incur legal action.

Terms and Conditions of using Music Equity as an Artist.

By setting up an account you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions –

1.     You must be over the age of 13 years.

2.     Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be liable for misuse of our system and will not be held responsible for any damages to your computer or equipment as a result of using Music Equity Pty Ltd

3.     You must own the rights or have written permission to the rights of the music you intend to upload to Music Equity Pty Ltd. Regardless of whether the music is in whole or in part, it is illegal for you to use music you do not have the rights for.

4.     You understand that if you use music of any sort that you have not created yourself without permission from its legal owner, it is an illegal offence and you are at risk of prosecution.  Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held liable for any illegal use of music.

5.     Music Equity Pty Ltd will not tolerate any abusive language or any comments deemed offensive and can refuse access to the system at any time. Judgment on what is deemed abusive and offensive material is wholly at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd and our decisions are final.

6.     Music Equity Pty Ltd believes you have the right to judge the recording quality of your own works. However, if Music Equity Pty Ltd deems your uploads are not meeting the minimal standard required from Music Equity Pty Ltd, then Music Equity Pty Ltd reserves the right to protect its clients and can remove the upload at any time. Judgments on minimum standards of quality recordings are wholly at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd and our decisions are final.

7.     It is your responsibility to keep your personal details up to date. Including payments details if your PAYPAL account is not current it could interrupt the flow of contributions from the sales of your music. Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for the upkeep of your personal details, or the delay in payment due to the incorrect information provided.

8.     Your Music is just that – “Your Music “– Music Equity Pty Ltd does not have any control over the rights of your music. Music Equity Pty Ltd recommends that you register your music with your local Music Performing Rights Organization. For example, in Australia the organization is Apra / Amcos. This will entitle you to earn royalties from any air play or commercial use of your material. It is your responsibility to register your music. Music Equity Pty Ltd is not responsible for registering your music.

9.     Your account may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd.

10.  Music Equity Pty Ltd can change these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time.

11.  Music Equity is always used by permission. Permission can be refused to anyone at any time without notice.

12.  Any illegal or misleading use of Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be tolerated and will possibly incur legal action.

13.  The Community Hub Support Program will be created and developed at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd All Community Hub Support Program financial allocations, financial guidelines and all other guidelines pertaining to all Hub activity will be wholly determined by Music Equity Pty Ltd Music Equity Pty Ltd reserves the right to reduce in size, enlarge, amalgamate or close down any Hub or Hubs at any time. Music Equity Pty Ltd judgements on all Community Hub matters are final. 

MUSIC EQUITY’S TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHARITIES


By setting up an account you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions –

1.     You must be a genuine Charity or non-for-profit organisation as legally defined by all relevant Federal and State governments of the country in which you are based.

2.     Music Equity Pty Ltd cannot be liable for any misuse of our system and will not be held responsible for any damages to your computers or equipment as a result of using Music Equity Pty Ltd.

3.     You are responsible for the monitoring and choosing the songs to be used on your charity page.

4.     Music Equity Pty Ltd is not responsible for the songs or artists you choose to receive donations from.

5.     All the information given is accurate and truthful.

6.     It is your responsibility to keep your details up to date. Music Equity Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for the upkeep of your organisations details.

7.     Your account may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of Music Equity Pty Ltd
